Sunday afternoons at my house always include a home cooked meal and a nap. Yesterday was no different and we had a wonderful lunch using some of the great sale this week at Harris Teeter. I used leftover roast chicken so this was a very easy meal to throw together.
1 bag boiled No Yolk Noodles (99¢ after coupon)
2 Cans Cream of Chicken & Mushrooms (60¢ after coupon )
1 Bag Frozen Mixed Vegetables
2 Cups Cooked Chicken (69¢/lb whole chickens)
1 1/2 cup milk
1tsp Garlic Powder
Boil the noodles as instructed on package. In a skillet heat your chicken and frozen vegetables. Once warmed add noodles, two cans of Cream of Chicken and Mushrooms and 1 1/2 cups milk. Heat on low for five minutes and serve. I have small kids and one very picky eater and this meal is always a hit.
