I had to take a picture fast because there wasn’t much left of this pie last night after my boys got into it. This is one of their favorites and it’s been a while since I made one so they were eager to dive in!
Kool-Aid is one of those summer time staples. My mom always had a pitcher of Tropical Punch Kool-Aid in the fridge.. always. She still has the vintage Kool-Aid pitcher. Bless it’s heart, it has held many, many years of Kool-Aid and is stained from all its use. It sure looks tired but still carries that big Kool-Aid smile after 3o years of use! If you grew up on Kool-Aid or just love a tropical easy dessert than you will LOVE this no bake pie recipe. It’s four simple ingredients (that’s it!)
- 8oz Soft Cream Cheese Bar (Challenge cream cheese 50¢ after coupon here)
- 1 Cool Whip Container (Cool Whip just 25¢)
- Kool-Aid Ready to Mix (89¢ after coupon)
- 1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust ($1.50 after coupon)
- Optional: Can of crushed pineapple (cherries, mandarins, or any other tropical fruit)
In a bowl combine cream cheese, 1 container of Cool Whip, and fill your Kool-Aid measuring lid to the 2 quart line (about 1/2 cup) use a mixer and whip the ingredients together.
At this point feel free to throw in a drained can of tropical fruit if you’d like. I had a can of pineapples in the cabinet and threw them in the mix. Get creative!
Place your pie in the fridge and allow it to set for 2 hours or over night if you’d like. That’s it! Serve with a big tall glass of your favorite Kool-Aid and some whipped topping!
Hope ya’ll enjoy it!
