When is it?
Harris Teeter happens every four to six weeks
What does Super Doubles mean?
It means that each coupon up to $2.00 will double (or up to the total price of the item)
**$2.00 coupon will double to $4 off
**$1.50 coupon will double to $3 off
**$1.00 coupon will double to $2 off
How many coupons will double?
Only 20 coupons per day will double. All other coupons will scan at face value. This is linked to your personal VIC card. I am asked all the time, ‘Can I go to another store and use 20 more?’. The answer is No. Only 20, after 20 it will scan at face value automatically. There is a limit of one VIC card per household. Only 3 like coupons will double (this now includes printable coupons!)
When does the sale start?
Super Doubles begin at 7am. If you have a store that is open 24 hours you may browse and shop early but don’t check out until 7am. You don’t have to wait until exactly 24 hours after your first trip. Your 20 coupon limit restarts every morning whenever the store starts their new day. If you have a 24 hour store it is usually sometime between 2am and 4am.
Can I use an e-coupon and a manufacturer paper coupon together?
Yes. Harris Teeter Allows you to use both on an item. This is a great way to score extra savings.
What about coupons that say Do Not Double?
In the policy it states that these type limits will be upheld. But, in my experience it is based on your store. My store is very lax and rarely checks or cares. But, if your store does read each coupon they have the right to not except them.
What about rainchecks?
I ALWAYS recommend getting rainchecks when an item is out. This is a perfect way to score extra savings And yes you can use redeem rainchecks during a Super Double event. Perfect when all the sale items are off the shelf.
How can I score the best deals?
Plan, Plan, Plan! I will put together a huge cheat sheet of all the deals, prices, coupons and what your out of pocket will be. All the work is done for you! (Minus the clipping, and you may be able to convince me to come over and do that for you if you offer me fudge and a glass of sweet tea! J) Check back everyday with me. I will post my extra findings and even more unadvertised deals. Also load your E-coupons, Saving Star, and Ibotta offers.
All of the deals I wanted to score are always off the shelf, what do I do now?
Get rainchecks. Don’t be afraid to ask customer Service when the next delivery truck arrives. You can even let them know what is out and suggest that they order more.
