So many of you have asked me, ‘How in the world do you cook London Broil?’ I’ll be honest at first London Broil really intimidated me, but now it’s on the menu quite often in our home. Ideally my favorite way is to marinade and grill it (you can see that recipe here.) But with the colder weather, I am sharing my other favorite, Crockpot London Broil. This is one of those set and forget meals (who doesn’t love those??), and it’s hard to mess this one up. I promise it’s a crowdpleaser!
London Broil is buy one get one FREE this week at Harris Teeter through 2/23. I knew after seeing the sale it would be on the menu this week!
The cost is roughly $7.00-$10.00 depending upon size.
- One London Broil
- 2 Onions (Free after rebates this week through 2/23)
- Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup (80¢ this week through 2/23)
- 1 pack of Lipton Soup Mix (on sale 2/$3 through 2/23, coupon in 1/31RP)
Serve over Rice. Minute Rice just 50¢ this week through 2/23.
This whole meal cost me around $10 and serves 5.
Heat a pan on high, add a little oil or butter, and brown your meat on both sides. Only takes just a minute.
(This is totally optional but I think it adds to the taste). Go ahead and turn your crock pot on. I use this Wi-Fi Enabled Crockpot, (yes I can cook when I’m not home! Pretty cool huh?)
Cut your onions in rings and place them in the bottom of your crockpot. Sprinkle with the onion soup mix and add the can of cream of mushroom.
Place meat on top and put the lid on your crockpot. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 7-8 hours.
That’s it! Seriously this meal is so easy! Enjoy!
