Yesterday the new e-coupon system launched. Martha (an admin in our Facebook group) reached out to corporate early yesterday morning and asked for details about the new system. The information given was that we will NOT be able to stack a manufacturer coupon with the new e-coupons. I received the SAME information when I called yesterday as well. You can read the other details here.
This morning my inbox was flooded with messages that according to Harris Teeter’s Facebook we WOULD be able to stack a manufacturer and e-coupon together. Definitely conflicting information.
I was tired of all the conflicting reports that I just headed out to test it out for myself. I purchased a pack of Huggies Pull-Ups. I had loaded a $1/1 Huggies Pull Up Coupon. As you can see on the receipt my e-coupon did NOT come off, and I did test it by using a manufacturer coupon as well. But, you CAN see that two are loaded. See them listed on the receipt?
I then went to customer service. Based on the store’s instruction guide no details were given regarding stacking/no stacking. At this time they don’t have access to view our e-coupons on their end, and actually my receipt was the first they had seen with the loaded e-coupons on it. The manager said that he has told we would not be able to stack. I let him know about my conversation with Corporate yesterday, and the conflicting new postings on Harris Teeter’s official Facebook page. He happily refunded my money and explained that the system is very new and there’s alot of work to be done.
I then called customer service. I AGAIN asked if we would be able to stack. I spoke to Brandy and was told YES! During this transitional time we would be able to use both coupons together, but that this will change when the new system launches. (I’m assuming next year when the full system goes live?) That’s why there was conflicting reports. I asked her if the new system was up and running and she said Yes. I told her that my e-coupon did not come off. She said there were outages yesterday but that it was up and running. Still not entirely sure why mine did not come off this morning.
So what does this all mean?
It means WE can stack both coupons, but be prepared to share the information you’ve been given because nothing formal is available just yet.
Watch closely to see if your e-coupons come off.
Be prepared for the new system launch, eventually the stacking will come to an end.
Hope that helps 🙂 Happy Shopping!
