I REALLY love Harris Teeter’s Fuel Points Program! I filled up my tank for $1.61 a gallon today, saving 60¢ off a gallon! That’s around $12 extra dollars in my pocket just by grocery shopping as I normally do every week!
There are THREE ways to earn points.
1. Purchasing participating items at Harris Teeter with your VIC card. $1 equals 1 Fuel Point. ( I noticed on my receipt that the points are calculated BEFORE coupons).
2. You’ll get 2x the fuel points by purchasing eligible retailer gift cards at Harris Teeter. Example: $25 gift card equals 50 fuel points.
3. Purchasing non-federally funded prescriptions with your VIC card. 1 prescription equals 50 fuel points.
Here’s a breakdown of the points system.
Here’s how to track your points.
Your current fuel points balance is located at the bottom of your Harris Teeter receipt. You may also view point balances online under the My Fuel Points tab, and through the HT app.
This program is running at all Harris Teeter locations. You will earn points when you shop at Harris Teeter and Amoco stations. Head Here to find a station near you.
Do Fuel Points Expire?
Fuel points earned in the current month will expire at the end of the next month. Fuel points do not combine across months. Each month is a separate accumulation period. Fuel points earned in separate months cannot be combined in the same transaction. Click here to view a fuel point expiration chart.
How do I redeem my fuel points at a BP or Amoco Station?
Press cancel button to enter your alternate ID (usually your phone number). Enter your alternate ID and press enter. Select “Yes” to use your cents off reward.
Is there a limit to how many fuel points I can redeem at a time?
You can redeem up to 1,000 fuel points in a single transaction (up to 1 dollar off per gallon). Fuel savings are limited to a single purchase of up to 35 gallons of fuel. Credit and debit card fraud prevention policies may limit transactions at the dispenser. Offer can’t be combined with any other discounts.
