If you are looking for a quick and budget friendly side dish add this one to your menu this week! Growing up in the south my grandmother, who we call ‘Maw’ always had a jug of tea in the fridge, and would often make these for dinner. It’s a family favorite side and super easy to make. Now if only I could master her fried chicken I’d be set!
- 1 package of baby carrots
- 4 ounces of tea
- 1/2 cup of sugar
Throw the ingredients in a small crockpot for 4 – 5 hours on low. If you are feeding a crowd you can double or triple the recipe.
